LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Carly Dorraugh along with Deputy Jay Smallwood arrested Christopher George Duff, age 41, of London on Saturday morning March 1, 2025 at approximately 10:44 AM.
The arrest occurred in a parking lot approximately 12 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of a reckless driver, a black Ford F-150 with a garbage truck hitched to the bed.
Allegedly the vehicle was seen weaving on the roadway and into the ditch line. While looking for the vehicle, deputies were further notified by dispatch that the vehicle had pulled off into a parking lot.
Deputies located the vehicle and driver and conducted an investigation determining that this individual was under the influence – this individual admitted using meth earlier in the morning.
Christopher George Duff was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
