CHIEF DEPUTY RESPONDING TO 911 DISPATCH LOCATES MANCHESTER, KY MAN UNSTABLE ON FEET WITH SLURRED SPEECH

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On Saturday, March 22, 2025 Chief Deputy Clifton Jones responded to a call from 911 dispatch in reference to an individual behind Save-A-Lot that appeared to be intoxicated.

When Deputy Jones arrived on scene, he located a subject matching the description and began an investigation. The individual, identified as Michael D. Brumley, 22, of Manchester, KY was unstable on his feet and had slurred speech. The subject stated that he was smoking marijuana. Chief Deputy Jones placed Brumley under arrest and he was transported to the Clay County Detention Center.

Michael Brumley was arrested for:

  • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLL SUB(EXCLUDES ALCOHOL)
  • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT

This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
