FRANKFORT, KY (March 26, 2025) — Republican Party of Kentucky Communications Director Andy Westberry released the following statement regarding the Kentucky Democratic Party’s (KDP) event Wednesday evening at the Lyric Theater:
“The KDP’s display of fake outrage and political theater is embarrassing — and it’s a clear reflection of why Democratic approval nationally has tanked to 27%. Tonight’s protest is less of a political statement and more of a seminar on how to lose. It’s a textbook example of just how out of touch Kentucky Democrats are with voters across the commonwealth.
“Kentucky Republicans are proud to stand with President Trump in his fight to Make America Great Again — and in his mission to make government more efficient, effective, and accountable to voters.”
