MANCHESTER, KY - High winds whipping through Kentucky during March left lots of damaged property behind including a family's residence in Clay County.
Marcum Ray Adams along with his mother and other family members share a small home on Curry Branch Road off Highway 80 west of Manchester. Marcum Ray said his mother heard the tree cracking and screamed, causing him to jump from the couch where he was dosing or he would have surely been killed as a huge Sycamore tree came crashing through the roof exactly where he had been.
Even though the home was basically destroyed the family is still attempting to use it for shelter. Marcum Ray spoke to "JerseyBull" in the following video about his sudden unexpected "brush with death".
