MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Monday, June 9, 2025 Deputy Dustin Henson responded to a fight complaint at the Wildcat Gas Station at the entrance of North HWY 11 in Manchester.
Upon arrival Deputy Henson made contact with a male subject identified as, Travis Smith, 29, of Manchester, KY and confirmed that the subject had a Clay County warrant of arrest on him.
Upon search incident to arrest, a small clear baggy containing crystallized substance was located in the left pocket on the subject's person. Based off Deputy Henson's knowledge and training on the substance, it was determined to be methamphetamine. Travis Smith was transported to the Clay County Detention Center.
Travis Smith was arrested for:
- POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
- TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE
This individual was lodged in the the Clay County Detention Center.
