DRUGS, CASH SEIZED, 2 ARRESTS AFTER K-9 ALERT AT TRAFFIC STOP ON KY 192 IN LONDON

LONDON, KY - London Police Department's Acting Chief of Police Bobby Day is reporting that on Thursday, June 12th, 2025, at approximately 6:47 pm, LPD Sgt. Dylan Messer arrested Mark S. Webb, age 54 of London, KY and Teresa G. Vaughn, age 52 of London, KY.

Sgt. Messer observed a vehicle on KY-192 and with the occupants not wearing their seatbelts. Upon contact with the occupants, officers noticed items commonly associated with illegal drug use. It was at this time that Sgt. Messer deployed K-9 Jack who gave a positive alert for the odor of illegal substances in the vehicle.

Upon conducting a search, officers located a large amount of U.S. Currency, a white crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Mark Webb was placed under arrest and charged with:

Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (> or = 2 Grams Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Wear Seat Belt.

Teresa Vaughn was placed under arrest and charged with:

Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (> or = 2 Grams Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Operating on Suspended or Revoked License, and other traffic related offenses.

Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
