LONDON, KY — Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that : Laurel Sheriff's shift Sgt. Allen Turner arrested Malinda Campbell, age 35, of East Bernstadt on Tuesday afternoon June 17, 2025 at approximately 3:33 PM.
The arrest occurred off KY 490 approximately 4 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a domestic complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly Malinda Campbell had struck a male subject there. Deputies noted observing redness and scratch marks on the male subject.
Malinda Campbell was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
