LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jared Hale arrested a Berea, KY woman on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
The arrest occurred on Laurel Lake Rd. when Deputy Hale's assistance was requested by the US Forest Service in reference to a female who was possibly under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
When Deputy Hale arrived at the scene, he observed the vehicle partially off of the roadway causing a hazardous condition and began an investigation. Deputy Hale determined the female, identified as, Susan Lynn Boggs, age 32, of Berea, KY to be under the influence and she was placed under arrest.
Susan Boggs was charged with:
- NO REGISTRATION PLATES
- NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT
- IMPROPER DISPLAY OF REGISTRATION PLATES
- OPER MTR VEHICLE U/INFL ALC .08 (189A.010(1A) - 1ST
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
