LONDON, KY — Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: On Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 2:23 AM, Deputies were dispatched to a call of a gun shot victim located at 71 Robert E Cox Rd.
Upon arrival at the scene, a 42 year old male was located with multiple gunshot wounds. Aid was rendered on scene until Laurel County EMS arrived.
The male subject was transported to Saint Joseph's in London, KY and later transferred to the University of Kentucky for further treatment. An investigation was initiated and is ongoing. Det. Sgt. Taylor McDaniel is the case officer.
