LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Sallys Branch Road in London.
As Deputies were in the area they observed the motor vehicle in question. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and determined that the operator, a female identified as Heather Jackson, age 45, (no address given) to be under the influence of intoxicating substances.
Deputy Reed along with Sgt. Allen Turner and Deputy Adam Napier placed the female under arrest and she was transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
The following charges are listed for Heather Jackson:
- OPER MTR VEHICLE U/INFL SUBST (189A.010(1C) - 1ST
- FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS
- POSS OF MARIJUANA
- DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
- FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQ INS/SEC, 1ST OFF
- NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT
- FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE
- IMPROPER DISPLAY OF REGISTRATION PLATES
- FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD
According to JailTracker, this individual was booked into the the Laurel County Correctional Center on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 7:40:00 PM and released on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 8:43:40 PM.
