(FRANKFORT, KY.)--- The Kentucky State Police recognized the promotion of 48 officers throughout the state at a ceremony held at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort. One lieutenant colonel, two majors, nine captains, 12 lieutenants and 24 sergeants were commissioned.
Effective August 1, 2013, the following officers were promoted:
●Major Howard L. Logue, Jr. to Lieutenant Colonel, Administrative Division as Director. A resident of Richmond, Logue is a 23-year veteran of the agency.
●Captain John M. Bradley to Major, Technical Services Division as Chief Information Officer. A resident of Frankfort, Bradley is a 17-year veteran of the agency.
Effective August 16, 2013, the following officer was promoted:
●Facilities Security Officer Harry E. Rose to Sergeant, Facilities Security Branch. A resident of Lawrenceburg, Rose is a six-year veteran of the agency.
Effective December 1, 2013, the following officer was promoted:
●Captain Chad E. White to Major, Administrative Division, Operational Support Troop
as commander. A resident of New Castle, White is a 16-year veteran of the agency.
Effective November 16, 2013, the following officers were promoted:
●Lieutenant Shane Bates to Captain, Criminal Identification and Records Branch as commander. A resident of Crestwood, Bates is a 16-year veteran of the agency.
●CVE Lieutenant Jonathan G. Blevins to Captain, Region 3, Georgetown as commander. A resident of Frankfort, Blevins is a 14-year veteran of the agency.
