The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) will have an open house at the Kentucky Military History Museum from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, May 13, for people interested in volunteering at the museum on Friday and Saturday afternoons this summer.
The volunteers will tell the public about the history and architecture of the building at 125 E. Main St., which served as the State Arsenal. They should be friendly, outgoing, articulate and able to communicate effectively with people of all ages in an active-learning environment. KHS will provide training.
