UPS delivery vehicle & car collide on Curry Branch Road in Clay County

Curry Branch, KY - On Thursday February 25, 2016 Clay County Sheriff Kevin Johnson and Sheriff's Department deputies responded to investigate an early afternoon two vehicle collision on Curry Branch Road that blocked traffic immediately after the crash and again as the substantially damaged car was being removed by a towing service.

Apparently a UPS driver was stopped in the roadway attempting to deliver a package to a residence there. The delivery vehicle evidently received very little damage if any but the driver declined to comment about the incident other then speaking with Sheriff Johnson and was then allowed to leave.

The driver of the car apparently fled the scene after the collision, leaving behind a female passenger in the vehicle.

The following short video takes you to the crash site.

At this time it appears that there were no injuries.

If any official report is made available to ClayCoNews an update will be published.
