Daniel Boone Midkiff, Jr., age 87, passed away Saturday June 29th, 2019 at Landmark of Laurel Creek.
He is survived by his wife Pattie Lewis Midkiff of Oneida, and the following children: Daniel Boone Midkiff III, Frankfort, KY, James Edward Sparks, Louisville, Jack Sparks and wife Teresa Owingsboro, Mary Dike Midkiff, Lexington, Jane Sparks Tatum and husband Bill, Lexington, Janet Sparks, Irving, Texas, Jean Sparks Nolen and husband Mick, Olive Hill, KY, Julia Sparks, Lexington, and one daughter in law Liz Sparks of Beaver Dam, KY.
He is also survived by one brother Dr. Charles Wells Midkiff and wife Lelia, of Lexington and 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel Boone Midkiff Sr., and Amanda Wilkerson Midkiff and one son John L. Sparks.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday July 2nd, 2019 at the Oneida Baptist Institute Chapel with Dr. Charles Wells Midkiff and Darwood Santmier officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be after 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour at the Oneida Baptist Institute Chapel.
