Joshua Paul Mathis, age 36 departed this life on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, May 8, 1983 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Ricky and Rosalie Fields Mathis.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Jennifer Gray Mathis, his daughters: Caitlyn Mathis, Leanna Mathis and Ella Rose Mathis, his parents: Ricky and Rosalie Mathis, his brother: Patrick Ryan Mathis and his wife Misty, his niece: Dora Brooklyn Mathis and his nephew: Matthew Mathis. Also surviving is his father and mother-in-law: Jerry Lee and Debra Ann Gray, his sister-in-law: Kara Gray, his maternal grandmother: Betty Fields and his special friends: Matthew Collopy, Chris Collopy and Justin Collopy.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Luther and Dora Mathis, his mammy: Ella Marcum and his grandfather: Bobby Paul Brown.
A celebration of life for Josh Mathis will be conducted on Thursday, August 15 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Anthony Lovett and Rev. Tess Lipps will be presiding. He will be laid to rest in the Marcum Hill Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends and loved ones after 6:00 PM on Wednesday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
