Owen "O.J." Hensley Jr., age 59, of Manchester, passed away Friday September 13th, 2019 at his home.
Owen was a coal miner of 40 years.
Owen is survived by his wife Linda Hensley and two sons Matthew Hensley and wife Katelyn, Spring borrow, OH, and Michael Hensley of Manchester.
He is also survived by his mother Fannie Mae Hensley and one sister Carolyn Hensley of Manchester, and two grandchildren Emily and Wyatt Hensley.
He is preceded in death by his father Owen Hensley.
The funeral service for Owen will be held 12:00 Noon Monday September 16th, 2019 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in the Philpot Hensley Cemetery at Price Hollow.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition.
Britton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
