Donald "Donnie" Lee Sandlin, 70, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 9th, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital.
Donnie was born in Hyden, KY on March 8, 1949, a son of the late Ida (Coots) and Watson Sandlin.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Brumley) Sandlin; and his children: Donald Sandlin of Falmouth, KY, Lisa Sandlin of Falmouth, KY, and Patricia Sandlin of Manchester.
Donnie is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; and by the following brothers and sisters: Delmar Sandlin of Falmouth, KY. David Wayne Sandlin of Falmouth, KY, Jim Sandlin of Falmouth, KY, Gerry Massengale of Paoli, IN, Deana Sandlin of Bulter, KY, and Mary Helen Brown of North Carolina.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wayne Sandlin.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Tess Lipps officiating. Burial will follow at the Engine Cemetery in Manchester, KY.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, October 11th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
