Jerry Lee Hurst was born on October 29, 1960, in Connorsville, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Burkhart Hurst, his parents, Leon and Wanda Whitaker Hurst, his son, Wesley Hurst, his brother, Tim Hurst and wife, Angela, all of London, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorsie and Minnie Hurst and Lee and Lizzy Whitaker.
Jerry was a Laurel Grocery employee, a pastor and a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Manchester.
Jerry Lee Hurst departed this life at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, on Thursday, October 17, 2019, being 58 years, 11 months and 18 days of age.
Funeral services for Jerry Lee Hurst will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne House and Wilmer Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesnut Cemetery on Feltner Steer Road.
The family of Jerry Lee Hurst will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Saturday.
