Silas Moore was born February 1, 1956, in Jackson County, Kentucky, the son of the late Jesse and Dessie Adkins Moore. Silas departed this life at Hillcrest Nursing Home on Friday, October 18, 2019, being 63 years, 8 months and 17 days of age. He was a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
Silas is survived by his special friend, Patricia Dattillo of London, his sister-in-law Shelia Campbell of East Bernstadt, plus other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by four siblings, Edith Lewis, Kathleen Hurley, Janie Seals and Lester Moore.
Funeral services for Silas Moore will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Deaton officiating.
The family of Silas Moore will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 5:00 PM Thursday until the funeral hour of 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
