Carl Vernon Swafford, 71, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, October 25th, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.
Carl is survived by one brother, Boyd Swafford and wife May Swafford, of Cincinnati, OH.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephew: Sonny Jones and wife Tammy of London, Sheila Collins and husband Donnie of Manchester, Kathy Isaacs and husband Tommy of Manchester, and Doris Jean Downs of Lynchfield, KY; and by a host of others nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Cora Swafford, and the following brother and sisters: Cecil Swafford, Jewel Jones and Kathleen Spurlock.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Dean Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
