Edgar Owen Edwards was born on July 25, 1925 in Livingston, Kentucky. He was the son of the late James David “J.D.” Edwards and Cora Hammons Edwards. He was united in marriage to Della Marie Johnson who preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Richardson and Marsha Phillips both of Lexington, Kentucky; and Billie Sullivan and husband Stephen of Danville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Owen was a southern Baptist minister, a member of Swiss Colony Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Edgar Owen Edwards departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2019 being 94 years, 2 months and 30 days of age.

Jake Brock and Johnny Jervis will officiate the service; burial will follow in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
