Joyce Green Chandler was born on September 30, 1930 in Oakley, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late George and Oma Patton Green. She was united in marriage to Burchell Chandler who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Lynn Lewis and one son Rick Chandler and wife Tammi both of London; two grandchildren, Shelia Lynn House and one grandson, Andrew Weston Chandler and wife Meredith all of London; one great grandson, Robert Chandler House of London. She also leaves behind one brother, Bradley Green and wife Shirley of East Bernstadt, Kentucky and two nieces.
Joyce was a long time member and worker at Mt. Carmel Christian Church at East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was first employed at the State TB Hospital and upon its closing she transferred to the Kentucky State Police where she retired.
Joyce Green Chandler departed this life on Saturday, October 26, 2019 being 89 years and 26 days of age.
