Polly Williams Browning was born February 10, 1941 in Leslie County to the union of the late Nick C. Williams and the late Betty Jane Harris. Polly was a homemaker and a member of the Hyden Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and caring for her flowers. Polly departed from this walk of life on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Cumberland, Kentucky. She was 78 years old.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Bailey.
Polly leaves behind, three beloved daughters, June Witt & husband, Richard of Thousandsticks, KY, Wilma Bowling & Husband, James of Confluence, KY, and Carolyn Eddleman & husband, Chris of Columbia, KY; special sister and caretaker, Joy Smith of Letcher County; sister, Wilma Moody of Smilax, KY; two brothers, Ted Williams and David Williams. Five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral: 1:00 P.M. – Wednesday, November 06, 2019 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Glenn Cornett officiating.
Interment: Family Cemetery – Smilax, KY
Visitation: 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. – Tuesday evening at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel.
