Ray Vandeventer was born on March 11, 1925 in Laurel County, Kentucky; the son of the late Isaac Vandeventer and Ruthie Chestnut Vandeventer. He was united in marriage to Roberta Ann Collier Vandeventer who preceded him in death. Ray was a retired store clerk, a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God and a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by three children, Debra Thompson and husband Kenny, Gary Vandeventer and wife Patsy and Linda K. Vandeventer all of London, Kentucky; two grandsons, Justin Vandeventer and Christopher Thompson plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents and wife he is also preceded in death by nine siblings.
Ray Vandeventer departed this life on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 being 94 years, 8 months and 8 days of age.
