Farley Sproles, 68, of Lexington, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 3rd, at his home.
Farley was born in Clay County on April 20, 1951, a son of Rosa (Hicks) Sproles and the late Floyd Sproles.
He is survived by his wife, Alma (Cottongim) Sproles; his two daughters: Gail Gurney and husband Gordon, and Joetta Bowman, all of Lexington; and his mother Rosa Hicks Sproles of Manchester.
He is also survived by five grandchildren: Heather Gurney, Colby Gurney, Beth Bowman, Matt Bowman, Brittany Bowman; two great grandchildren: Camron Drew and Ally Drew; two sisters: Valery King and Laura Etta Combs, both of Manchester; and two brothers: Donnie Sproles and Eddie Joe Sproles, both of Lexington.
In addition to his father, Farley was preceded in death by his son, Clarence Fairley Sproles; his grandson, Joseph Bowman; and his sister, Ollie Ann Sproles.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Ronnie Mosher and Gearld Denny officiating. Burial will follow in the Cottongim Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 5th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
