Camzie Eversole, 87, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 3rd, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek.
Camzie was born in Leslie County on September 22, 1932, a daughter of the late Corbin Wooton and Subrina Richie Wooton. On December 11, 1948 Camzie married Manning "Bud" Eversole.
She is survived by her children: Manning Eversole of Thailand, Charlotte (Les) Marcum of Manchester, KY, and Joe (Lila) Eversole of Manchester, KY.
Camzie is also survived by the following grandchildren: Jimmy Welch of Vermont, Jessica (Nolan) Davidson of Powell, TN, Jason (Alesia) Welch of London, KY, Sandy J. Eversole of Manchester, KY, and Brandon (Dawn) Eversole of Manchester, KY; by the following great grandchildren: Jordan, Hunter and Brody Eversole of Manchester, KY; Annabelle, Caroline and Manning Welch of London, KY; and Peyton and Olivia Davidson of Powell, TN; and by her sister and brother: Norma (Mike) Baker of Pineville, KY, and Danny Wooton of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Camzie was preceded in death by her husband, Manning Bud Eversole; her infant son, Leroy Eversole; one brother, Squire Wooton; and six sisters: Mae Brumley, Zola Stewart, Annie Henson, Elvie Brumley, Ora Hollin and Maxine Ross.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, December 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
