Margaret Ruth Mitchell Rose was born October 10, 1941 in Leslie County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Gary and Rose Bailey Mitchell.
She is survived by two children: John William Rose of London, and Laura Rebecca Rose of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; two siblings: Gerry Gariola of Lexington, Kentucky, and Pat Ledford of London; her special granddaughter Jamie Rose; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Rose, and a sister, Mattie Bennett.
She was a retired teacher with the Laurel County Board of Education and was a member of Laurel Chapel Christian Church.
Margaret Ruth Mitchell Rose departed this life Thursday, December 5, 2019 being 78 years, two months, and one day of age.
Funeral services for Margaret Ruth Rose will be Monday at 3:30 P.M. in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Wiggington Cemetery in London.
The family of Margaret Ruth Rose will receive friends after 1:30 P.M. Monday until the funeral hour of 3:30 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.
