Marilyn (Pennington) Creech, age 89 of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ and member of Mountain Laurel Quilters Club and Farmhouse Friends Club.
Marilyn was the mother of Lynn D. Creech and wife Gail of Annville, Kentucky, Glenn Owen Creech and wife Beverly of Ooltewah, Tennessee, and Tammy Pennington and husband Robbie of London, Kentucky; the sister of Ruby Carefree of Downey, California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Miranda Creech, Josh Creech, Rachel Gilbert, Jessica Davis, Matt Creech, Ashley Brock, Keaton Moberley, and Brice Pennington; and by seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, O.D. Creech; by her parents, William and Mary (Turner) Pennington; and by her siblings, Margaret Fields, Opal Banks, Wilma Pennington, William Pennington, Zelphia Pennington, Raleigh Pennington, and Thomas Harold Pennington.
Funeral services for Marilyn (Pennington) Creech will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Brown and Virgil Onkst officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family of Marilyn (Pennington) Creech will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the service time on Saturday.
Serving as pallbearers are: Josh Creech, Dylan Creech, Matt Creech, Scott Davis, Ben Gilbert, Daniel Brock and Anthony Wyatt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Mountain Laurel Quilters Club.
