Carolyn Mathews Clark was born on September 27, 1954, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Feltner Mathews. She was united in marriage to Curtis Clark, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by five siblings, Willard, Shelby and Bruce Mathews, all of London, Clara Leslie of Martinsburg, West Virginia and Frances Pullium of Frankfort, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by two brothers, William “Bill” and Harold Mathews.
Carolyn Mathews Clark departed this life at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, Kentucky, on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, being 65 years, 3 months and 25 days of age.
Funeral services for Carolyn Mathews Clark will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Mathews Family Cemetery at London.
The family of Carolyn Mathews Clark will receive friends after 12 PM Thursday until the funeral hour of 3:00 PM Thursday.
