Chester Henson, Jr., 74, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, May 13th, at the Owsley County Health Care Center in Booneville, KY. Chester was born in Manchester, KY, on January 31st, 1950, the son of the late Chester and Edna Couch Henson.
Chester is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Napier Henson.
He is survived by his children: Brant and Audrey Henson of Booneville, KY, and Jonathon Henson of Gooserock, KY.
He is also survived by the following grandchildren: Caroline Henson, Lucas Henson, Elijah Henson, and Christina Henson; by his siblings: Frank and Debbie of Gooserock, KY, Elbert and Elaine of Manchester, KY, Alfred of Gooserock, KY, and Margaret of Gooserock, KY. And a special niece, Karen and Jason Cox of Williamsburg, KY.
In addition to his parents and wife, Chester is preceded in death by the following brothers, Cecil Henson, W.O. Henson, Sam Henson, and Gibb Henson.
Services for Chester will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 17th, at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Henson Cemetery on the Left Hand Fork of Billy’s Branch.
Visitation for Chester will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 17th at Britton Funeral Home.
