George Williams, age 78 of London, KY passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at St. Joseph in London. He was born on Wednesday, May 29, 1946 in Manchester, Kentucky to Tink Williams and Fannie (Dunaway) Williams. He was a coal truck driver and a member of Old Chop Bottom Holiness Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: George Williams and Sheila, Angel Kelly and Dennis, Lisa Henson and Charlie, Donnie Williams and Barbara, Roy Williams and Janet, Gerald Williams and Molly, George Jr. Williams, Dale Evans Jones and Fiancé Glenn Smith
Bertha Delacruz, Fannie Smith and Gary and Melissa Smith; 42 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Darrell Williams and Alicia, Junior Williams, Shirley Williams and Donna, Arnold Williams, Ellen Collins and Elmer Ray, Ruby Williams, and Judy Smith and Wayne.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Tink and Fannie Williams; wife: Elvie Williams, and late wife Stella Williams; his children: C. P. Williams, Dallas Jones; granddaughter: Crystal Hubbard and these brothers and sisters: Charles Monroe, Pearl Williams, Hiram Williams, Mary Kathryn Collins, Sudie Henson, Stella Jackson, Cassie Stewart and Rethie Jean Williams.
Funeral Services for George Williams will be conducted on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at the Tink Williams Old Chop Bottom Holiness Church. Rev. Paul Mitchell and Rev. Jordan Campbell, and Scotty Farmer will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in the Chop Bottom Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday after 6:00 P. M. at the Tink Williams Old Chop Bottom Holiness Church.
