Mrs. Mayme Barrett Gray, age 52 of London, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. She was born September 27, 1960 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Hubert and Bertha D. Lovins Barrett.
She worked in retail, was a Gospel Music Singer with The Barrett Family, and a member of the Word of Faith Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband: Jim Gray of London, her mother: Bertha Barrett of London, and these brothers and sisters: Garnett Barrett of London, Betty Barrett of London, Brenda Hensley of London, Louise Edwards of Manchester, Paul Barrett of Annville, and Homer Barrett of London.
She is preceded in death by her daughter: Kelly Marie Gray, her father: Hubert Barrett, her sisters: Wilma “Wig” Barrett and Barbara Sue Barrett, and her brother: Carl Barrett.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mayme Barrett Gray will be on Wednesday, December 12, at 1 PM at the Word of Faith Pentecostal Church in London, Kentucky. Rev. Sill Lee and Rev. Joey Burns will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Oneida Community.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11 from 6 PM until 10 PM at Wednesday, December 12 from 11:30 AM until the funeral hour at 1 PM at the Word of Faith Pentecostal Church.
