Georgia Gray, 84, of Manchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 28th, at her home. Georgia was born in Plank, KY on July 5, 1940, a daughter of the late Steve and Anna Lee Wagers Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Gray.
Georgia is survived by her children: Oscar Glenn Gray, and Beverly Chadwell and husband Rick, all of Manchester.
She is also survived by her brother and sisters: Carl Dean Mitchell, Mossie Smith, Lena Stone, Nancy Woods, and Bernett Holland, all of Manchester; her grandchildren: Jason Erick Chadwell, and Jessica Turner and husband Hagen; and her great-grandchildren: Ava Turner and Ella Turner.
In addition to her husband and parents, Georgia was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Donald Mitchell, Jesse Mitchell, Roy Mitchell, Marie Mitchell, and Bernice Mitchell.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31st at Britton Funeral Home, with Roy Lane Woods officiating. Burial will follow at the Steve Mitchell Cemetery.
