Cassie Sears, 60, of Hector, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center at Lexington.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Sears, and these children: Tommy Sears, of London, Wesley Lawson, of Hector, Keisha Lawson, of Winchester, and step-son, James Brown, of Tennessee.
She is also survived by 1 grandchild and these brothers and sisters: Clayton Couch, of Hazard, Demus Couch, of Pineville, Rodney Mays and Catherine Botkins, both of Manchester, Mark Couch and Marsha Couch, both of Big Creek, Brenda Brown, of McKee, and Lorine Collins, of Hyden.
Funeral services for Cassie Sears will be 11 a.m. Friday at the East London Holiness Church with Jerry Holland, Jerry McKinley Holland, Freddie Johnson, Demus Couch, and Mitchell Long officiating. Burial will follow in the General Bowling Cemetery at Marcum.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
