Lillie Mae Thomas (Root), 76, passed away, Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at the Wesleyan, IN, Health Care Center. She was born in Manchester to the late George and Jennie (Harris) Root.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard L. Thomas, and the following children: Gary Root and wife, Jean, of Arkansas, Alan Thomas and wife, Pam, and Julie Thomas Baker, both of Cincinnati, OH, and Bruce Thomas.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and the following brothers and sister: Lois Gray and James Root, both of Manchester, and Jeff Root, of OH.
Funeral services for Lillie Mae Thomas will be 11a.m Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Bruner and Jason Root officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
