Reubin Sams, Jr., 82, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, November 4th, at his home. Reubin was born in Manchester, KY on July 11, 1942, a son of the late Reubin and May Allen Sams.
Reubin is survived by his wife, Ruby Smith Sams; his son, Hansford Sams and wife Peggy; and his daughter, Sheila Henson and husband Raymond, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by his sister, Christine Whicker and husband Earl of Indiana; and his grandchildren: Colby Henson and wife Linsey, Trevor Sams and wife Ema, Autumn Grace Hubbard and husband Dominic, and Lauryn Smith
In addition to his parents, Reubin was preceded in death by his son, Roger Sams; and the following brothers and sisters: Richard Sams, George Sams, Hansford Sams, Gertrude Waun, Mary Goins and Ruth Goins.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8th at Britton Funeral Home, with Wade England officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8th at Britton Funeral Home.
