Billy Ray Marcum, 79, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 12th, at the Hyden Health and Rehab Center. Billy was born in Manchester, KY on May 2, 1945, a son of the late Lloyd and Sudie Jackson Marcum.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Wombles Marcum.
Billy is survived by his son, Bobby Marcum and wife Sheila of Manchester.
He is also survived by his brother, Squire Marcum of Tyner; and by the following grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Chasity Hinkle, Natasha Smallwood, Shauna Smallwood, Chad Marcum, Dallas Marcum, Selena Smallwood, Sara Smallwood, Ethan Bray, Trenton Bray, Shiann Smith, Julian Smith, Chloe Smith, Alexis Hack, and Addison Hack.
In addition to his wife and parents, Billy was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Major Marcum, Jimmy Marcum, Polly Inman, and Iva Lee Branstutter.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 16th at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hubbard Cemetery in Goose Rock.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 15th at Britton Funeral Home.
