Godfrey Stewart, 65, of London, KY, passed away Thursday, November 21st, 2024. Godfrey was born in Oneida, KY on April 2, 1959, a son of the late Ben and Evelyn Lunsford Stewart.
Godfrey is survived by the following nieces and nephews that he raised as his own: Jennifer Stewart (Jarvis Tuggle), Charles Stewart (Tiffany Eversole), Jessica Smith (Deandre Smith), and Daniel Stewart.
He is also survived by these nieces and nephews: Tara Stewart, Jimmy Stewart, Michael Estes, and Natasha Word; his brother and sisters: Denny Stewart of London, Sara Gilbert of Jackson County, Bonnie Robbins of Cincinnati, and Lisa Stewart of Cincinnati; his special friend, Helen Dunbar; and his friend, Estill Word.
In addition to his parents, Godfrey was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Jimmy Stewart and Anna Mae Stewart.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27th at Britton Funeral Home, with Anthony Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at the Martin Cemetery in Oneida.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27th at Britton Funeral Home.
