With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Irma Glenn Ledford, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on December 2, 2024. Glenn was born on October 4, 1933 to the union of William “Bill” Hicks and Orpha Melton Hicks in Manchester, KY.
She lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and wisdom. She dedicated herself to her family, often sharing her heartfelt stories of days gone by. Glenn was a member of the Church of God Worship Center.
She leaves behind her two children Bonnie Jones of Manchester and Terry (Christy) Ledford of Camden, OH and her son-in-law John Roberts of Bear Branch, KY, eight grandchildren: Kim (Gary) Allen, Stephanie Roberts, Teresa (William) Fields, Amanda Jones all of Manchester, KY, Tia (Justin) Corris of Monroe, OH, Andrew Ledford, Donny Ledford and Taegan Ledford all of Camden, OH; five great grandchildren: Taylora (Joseph) Stephens, Tyler (Brooke) Fields, Jacob Fields all of Manchester and Evelyn and Nathan Corris of Monroe, OH and one special great great granddaughter Hazel Grace Fields.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William “Bill” and Orpha Hicks , her infant brother, her beloved husband T. G. Ledford, and her beloved daughter Barbara Ann Roberts.
Glenn (Grandma) will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered for the love she brought into our lives.
Funeral services for Irma Glenn Ledford will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brad Stevens and Rev. Joey Burns will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Ledford Cemetery in the Elk Creek Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday, December 9, 2024 after 11:00 A. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
