Jack Evan Woods was born November, 14th 1935. He was a native of Clay County and departed this life Sunday January 13th at age 77.
He was a retired state worker, and a Marine Corps Veteran. He was the Son of the Late Walter and Ethel (Smith) Woods.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Jack Evan Woods Jr. (Butch) and his grandson Ronnie Lee Sizemore Jr.
He is survived by his children: Kathy Woods and (Danny Petry), Kimberly Woods and (Ronnie Sizemore), Walter Scott and (Becky Woods). Three Stepchildren: Freddy Couch, Diana Sunday, and Ricky Morgan, all of London. Four grandchildren: Brandi (Sizemore) Carlton, Lindsey (Sizemore) Shepard, Sierra and Morgan Woods, and one great grandson Dawson Carlton.
Also Surviving is one sister Jewell Dean Woods, and a long time friend Margaret Gibbs, as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service will be officiated by Jim Logan.
