Pauline Bowling, 76, of Oneida, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 8th, at her home. Pauline was born in Oneida, KY on February 7, 1949, a daughter of the late Forester and Annie Barger Spurlock. She loved going to church, singing in church, and gardening.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Jess Bowling of Oneida; by her two sons: Joey Bowling and wife April of Leslie County, and Jerry Bowling and wife Tracy of Big Creek; and by her grandchildren: Emily Bowling and Braden Bowling.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Lonnie Spurlock and wife Rita of Connersville, IN, Larry Spurlock and wife Nancy of Connersville, IN, Evelyn Spurlock of Oneida, Joyce Lainhart and husband Tim of Connersville, IN, Patty Hensley of Alexandria, KY, and Judy Harris of Connersville, IN; and by a host of family, friends, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Gerald Spurlock, John Spurlock, Forster Spurlock, Jr., Paul Spurlock, Irene Davidson, Sophia Hensley, and Mary Hoskins; and by the following brothers-in-law: Harvey Spurlock, Gary Hensley, Herman Harris, Marion Hensley, and Price "P.C." Hoskins.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12th at Britton Funeral Home, with John Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at the Alfred Bowling Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12th at Britton Funeral Home.
