Mrs. Manervia Sibert White, age 97 of Greasy Road in Manchester, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at her home. She was born June 25, 1915 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of William and Celina Hensley Sibert. She was a homemaker and a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Fredie Abner of Manchester, Tolman White of Louisville, Lillie Mae Vallance of Manchester, Betty Ruth Bundy of London, Irene Jarvis of Hamilton, Ohio, and Harvey Sibert White of Manchester. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Celina Sibert, her husband: Harve “Brit” White, her son: Pearl “Jay Bird” White, and these brothers and sisters: Hugh, Anderson, Hansel, Bates, Tom, Lorey, A. T., William Sibert, Jr., Maggie Hart, Lula Lewis, Bertha Hyde, and Stella Miller.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Manervia Sibert White will be conducted on Monday, March 4 at 1 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Anthony Lovett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel and on Monday after 11 AM until the hour of service at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
