Perley Smith, age 74, of Sandhill, was born May 12th, 1938, passed away Monday, March 4th, 2013, at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Oather Ray Smith, of Sandhill, three daughters Carolyn Day, of Big Creek, Allene Mills, of Sandhill, and Melinda Wagers, of Martins Creek.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her sister, Joyce Ann Roark, of Bright Shade, and three brothers: Clifford Wagers, Sam Jr. Wagers, and Elmer Wagers, all of Mudlick.
Perley was preceded in death by three sons: Otis Jr. Smith, Bobby Wayne Smith, and Tommy James Smith
Funeral services for Perley Smith will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren with Dwayne Yost and Dave Balmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mud Lick Cemetery at Plank.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home & Friday after 11:00 a.m. at the church.
