Clearsie Jackson, age 90, of Manchester, was born October, 15th, 1922, passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
She was a retired employee of the Clay County Board of Education.
She is survived by the following children: David Jackson and wife, Melinda, of Roark, Paul Jones and wife, Barbara, James Jones and wife, Clara, and Wanda Jones Grubb, all of London, Kenneth Jones, and wife, Bonnie, and Bruce Jackson and wife, Mary Joann, both of Manchester, Bobby Jones, of Pineville, Ruby Jones Price and husband, Jim, of Greenbriar, and Marlene Jackson, of Paces Creek.
She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: J.B. Asher, Andy Smallwood, Veda Thompson, and Josephine House, all of Hamilton, OH, Charles Asher, of New Miami, OH, and Sylvia Combs, of Lexington.
Funeral services for Clearsie Jackson will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Old Indian Grave Branch Baptist Church with Reggie Jackson and Harold Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Bright Shade.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
