Arlie Smith, age 87, of Hector, was born March 23rd, 1926, passed away Monday September 30, 2013 at the University of Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Smith, and the following children: Paul Collins and wife, Kathy, Gary Collins, Shirley Mathis and husband, Steve, Patricia Hensley and husband, Joe, and Patty Sizemore and husband, Danny, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and the following brother and sisters: Robert Smith, of Manchester, Pansy Hacker, of Manchester, and Doxie Cope, Berea.
Funeral services for Arlie Smith will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with George Roberts and Lyle Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
