Esther Baker, 95, of Manchester passed away Friday November 8th, at her home.
She was a member of the Big Creek Holiness Church.
She is survived by 5 grandchildren: Melissa Smith and husband Greg, Manchester, Mike Ledford and wife Michelle, Ronald Ledford, Knoxville, TN, Timothy Ledford and wife Naomi, Fairfield, OH, and Anthony Ledford, Big Creek, as well as one special son in law Billy Ledford.
Also surviving are the following 9 great grandchildren: Nikki Sanchez, Knoxville, TN, Jonathan Ledford, Manchester, Paige and Savannah Ledford, Fairfield, OH, Talon Ledford, Big Creek, and Jessica Hibbard, Shelly Ledford, Chance Smith, and Tori Smith, all of Manchester, and 6 great great grandchildren and 8 special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raleigh Baker and two daughters Donna Smith and Cledith Ledford as well as 3 brothers and sisters, June Finley, Joe Davis, and Ted Davis.
The funeral service for Esther Baker will be held 1 PM Tuesday November 12th at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Rusty Roberts and Timothy Ledford officiating. Burial will follow in the Polly Marcum Cemetery at Big Creek. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at the Britton Funeral Home.
