Dowell Sparks, 82, of Sextons Creek, was born February 2nd, 1931, and passed away Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 at his home.
He is survived by his son Michael "Tiger" Sparks and wife Teresa of Sextons Creek, two brothers, Eugene Sparks and wife Georgia of Sextons Creek, Donnie Ray Sparks and wife Barbara of Indiana, one sister, Rhoda Ann Wright of Louisville, along with seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Also surviving is his long time special friend, Louise Cheek of Manchester.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Dowell Sparks will be held 2PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Joey Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Sparks-Clark Cemetery on Sextons Creek. Visitation will after 6PM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.
