Goldia Combs, 84, of Cold Spring, KY, formerly of Oneida, was born December 20, 1929, and passed away Monday, February 3rd, 2014.
She was alumni of Oneida Baptist Institute, she attended Eastern Kentucky University, and was a member of the Oneida Community Church.
She is survived by her children, William Dempsey Combs and wife Judy of Sextons Creek, KY, Darlene Wright of Cold Spring, KY, along with two grandchildren, Stephen Preston Wright and Jill Leiann Wright, and one great grandchild, William Hunter Wright.
She is also survived by three brothers, Larry Sizemore of Sextons Creek, KY, Steve Sizemore of Laurel, IN, Earl Gene Sizemore of Glenco, KY, and two sisters, Gerry Ann Asher of Oldenburg, IN, and Geneva Modlin of Richwood, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Brackie Combs, her parents Lawrence and Lola (Clark) Sizemore, two brothers, James Asher, Billy Sizemore, two sisters, Glenna Cavins, and Gala Miller.
Funeral services for Goldia Combs will be held 2PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Family Members officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark-Sizemore Cemetery on Sextons Creek. Visitation will be after 1PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.
