Minnie L. Murrell, age 79, of Lower Teges, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday May 4th, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Daniel Bishop and Cleo Mobley Bishop.
She was preceeded in death by her husband Robert Murrell and 2 sons, Carter and James Murrell.
Minnie leaves behind 2 daughters, Cathy Murrell and Beverly Rogers and husband Will, 2 grandsons and 2 great grandsons, Chris Rogers, wife Denise and son Jacob Christopher and Scott Rogers and son Rocker Scott.
Also surviving are 3 brothers, Melvin Bishop and wife Barbara, Henry Bishop and Dallas Bishop, 1 sister-in-law Vivian Middleton and husband Ben, 1 brother-in-law Corbit Murrell and wife Barbara, and a host of much loved neices and nephews.
The legacy left behind by Minnie Murrell is that she devoted her life to her family and the care of her special needs children. She taught us to be overcomers, to love the Lord above all else and to face life in His strength.
Funeral services for Minnie L. Murrell will be held 11AM Wednesday with Joey Burns, Brad Stevens, and J.C. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Murrell Cemetery on Teges. Visitation will be after 6PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
