Mr. John “Bus” White, age 79 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home.
He was born on Wednesday, July 11, 1934 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Theo and Ellen Hatfield White. He was a retired school bus driver for the Clay County Board of Education, a turnkey at the Clay County Jail and a member of the New Home Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Debbie Walker and her husband Kenny, Diana Baker, Paul White and his wife Jennifer and Darla Baig and her husband Naeem. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren: Adam Walker, Rebecca Burkhart, Mandee Baker, Emma White, Madalyn White, Addyson White, Ameerah Baig, and Caleb Baig, 3 great grandchildren: Jacob Walker, Casey Walker, and Sarah Walker. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Bill White, Pearl Smith, and Callie Reynolds.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Theo and Ellen White, his wife: Geraldine White, and his son: John Calvin White.
Funeral Services for Mr. John “Bus” White will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roy Crawford will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
